How?
Have a read of one of our Citizen Science features to find out what you can take part in, from counting birds and butterflies in your own garden to looking for kelp forests on satellite photographs. We’ll include a quick link to the website you need to go to for the project in the feature. Or visit the website Zooniverse which has a huge number of different projects listed. Use the filters to get ones that help research into Climate Change or Nature.

Why?
To tackle the problems of climate change and loss of biodiversity, research needs to be undertaken. Computers and scientific researchers alone cannot collect and analyse all the data needed for these projects but by involving large numbers of volunteers, the research can be on a scale that is truly useful in helping to preserve and protect the planet and it’s wildlife.
